Michael Betel
Executive Director
Michael Betel is HepCURE’s Executive Director, responsible for working with key industry stakeholders and expanding HepCURE's programming.
Michael has been involved in supporting liver disease for over 30 years and joined HepCURE in 2021. He has been a leader in both commercial and not-for-profit organizations, as a Director at Hoffmann-La Roche and Canadian Blood Services, and as a sales and marketing leader at Schering-Plough. He was a Director on the board of a national health charity for 9 years. Michael has presented at multiple liver related conferences, and co-authored papers in HBV and HCV and is also a long-time and active member of the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver (CASL).
