HepCURE is a non-profit committed to eliminating Hepatitis C in Canada. We work with community based organizations and pharmacies across Ontario and offer the most comprehensive screening and treatment program for marginalized people living with Hepatitis C.

Position Summary

The Outreach Manager will manage all HepCURE outreach staff and will work closely with the outreach teams to administer the HepCURE program across Ontario. The successful incumbent will supervise all HepCURE activities and acts as the first point of escalation for all Outreach matters. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with existing sites and establishing new community partnerships, mobile unit scheduling, training and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, professionalism, time management, leadership skills and have a passion to make a difference in the communities we service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all outreach team members to ensure staff are working to their full potential;
  • Respond to all outreach inquiries and complaints in a timely manner and escalate to senior management as required;
  • Lead and motivate outreach teams to ensure organizational objectives are met;
  • Engage and maintain relationships with new and existing HepCURE community partner sites;
  • Draft, finalize and present weekly team schedules for Outreach teams;
  • Management and daily coordination of mobile unit route and adherence to scheduled screening times;
  • Draft and create all HepCURE related standard operating procedure (SOPs);
  • Ensure team completes all required training and SOPs;
  • Ensure timely submission and approval of all expense reports;
  • Hourly monitoring/reporting of all HepCURE site screenings;
  • Preparation of reports for various partner sites and external stakeholders;
  • Hire and train outreach staff;
  • Attend all weekly and bi-weekly staff meetings;
  • Act as backup Intake Coordinator when required;
  • Ensure staff follow safety protocols and procedures;
  • Develop e-communication strategies to ensure partner sites are informed of HepCURE screening schedule and results;
  • Ensure all tools, processes and procedures are properly documented;
  • Create and promote a positive and supportive team culture;
  • Support Director in identifying ongoing quality improvement measures;
  • Maintain community site contact list to ensure information is accurate;
  • Review and monitor compliance of data accuracy and key program metrics;
  • Perform clerical work such as emailing, coping and data entry;
  • Other duties as required.


  • Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or similar from a recognized educational institution;
  • Previous experience in addiction/shelter services is required;
  • Ability to work between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. (and occasional weekends as required);
  • Ability to travel to community sites and willingness to undertake out-of-town travel as required;
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.


  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French or other language is an asset;
  • Strong problem‐solving skills, and the ability to think under pressure;
  • Great time management and organizational skills;
  • Strong focus on delivering quality customer service and patient care;
  • Knowledge of community resources within Greater Toronto Area;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Experience with MS Office, Outlook and iPhone/iPad literacy;
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.

Please note: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be worn at all times when attending community screenings.
